The final countdown!

Not only is tomorrow the start of September, it is also the start of the Learn Something New class by Shimelle, and the start of my SOFA mission. I am planning on blogging everyday during the month and sharing creations/photographs along the way.

I have weighed myself (urgh!) and measured myself (double urgh!!) and will be recording a few facts for each day as follows:

• Did I eat healthy today?
• How much exercise did I do today?
• Did I indulge in any "me" time today?
• What did I learn today?
• What did I create today? 

I look forward to sharing my journey through the month with you!

And of course that makes today the final day in August and so by the skin of my teeth I managed to complete my entry for the Craft Garden Beach Hut Challenge. I've had this little photo cube box hanging around for a while now, purchased because it reminded me of one my grandparents used to have on the top of their TV with pictures of us grandchildren in.  I painted it white all over with a paint/water wash and then added cracklepaint to the front section. I think added subtle blue ink to the cube before making my beach hut from coffee stirers! A felt top with a few embellishments and voila! One photo cube of our week away in the Blue House last month!
