Lost for something to do and love scrapbooking?...Pop across the pond for a peak at week 1 of the Canadian Paws on Scrapbooking Sketch challenge. Their newly formed Sketch DT (including lil' ole' moi from the UK) have kicked off the weekly Sketch inspirational section of the website today in true PAWSIE style.
We had another great ScrapMates crop on Saturday with 18 ladies in all, making layouts and minibooks within dvd cases using bright (and scary!??) papers. A good time was had by all as always, although I missed the end due to feeling completely lousy and having no energy to fight with my stroppy daughter. WIll share my class project tomorrow.
House is chaos as we move into week 5 of the loft conversion, although we ve had 5 plasters in today, and there is much drying out of plastered walls occuring! The carpenters return tomorrow to put skirting boards and doors on, and the facias on the outside of the house, AND, fingers crossed WINDOWS!!! Then just electrics and the bathroom installation and we should be good to paint. Maybe then my blood pressure will return to normal as I get to be creative with a brush and paint in the new rooms and kiss goodbye to the dust-festival of late! Also means I change scrapping areas as I move up into the now slighly smaller box room for a door-lockable haven of my own :) Can't wait!!
Is that a butterfly i c on your LO?
