There is less than an hour to go until December 2010 starts, which means there will be a JYC email from Shimelle anytime soon!!
It is my fourth year playing along with this online journalling class for the holiday season and despite making my journal 6x6 in 2007, 8x8 in 2008, 9x9 in 2009 I have opted for a smaller canvas this year and have made my journal just larger than 6x4, covering a Prima Journaling Card box - like this one to house my kraft cardstock pages.
My covers now look like this, and I have prepared my date tags using Tim Holtz Christmas ticket stamps and a Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology ticket attached together. I am using a combination of My Minds Eye Papers, seasonal stamps, kraft cardstock and no doubt a little distress stickles along the way! I have also resurrected my Polaroid Pogo printer and am hoping to include a few 2x3 photos along the way.
I have also been working on my 7Gypsies printers tray which I am decorating in the twelve days of Christmas - here is a sneak of what it looks like so far - I have a couple more boxes to do, but am a bit stuck for inspiration on 8-maids-a-milking!! ATDML have just got a restock of these if you are looking for a neat project to take on.
It's great fun as you can decorate each card in turn, a neat smaller project to work on, and it's fun to mix up your crafting stash and look at things in a new way. My chandelier beads when covered in alcohol ink became pears for the tree for my partridge and small pale yellow roses and a grungeboard scroll became a swan! I'll share more soon, promise!
all of your creations are fabulous!!! so much inspiration. look forward to visiting you this holiday season.

Beautiful, love the way you've altered the packaging and your printers tray looks like it is coming on a treat :-)

love all your crafting! I came to look at your JYC pages, but now have severe printer tray envy, LOL!!! Am totally digi now, so would be silly to buy one, but am SO tempted, LOL!!
Thanks for the inspiration!
