Not quite sure how a week has passed since I last blogged - so much for my keeping up with it!
Anyhow, catching up again, my daughter Ellie had a lovely 16th birthday last week. I made a pretty awesome cake with some assistance from my lovely friend (and luckily neighbour too!), we enjoyed a nice meal at TGi Fridays (nom nom nom at the Jack Daniels Ribs!) but I paid the price on the scales for both with a small 1lb weight gain so am back to being mrs motivated this week (if you ignore the chinese at lunchtime!). NOt the greatest photo of the cake as this one was taken on my phone - but you get the idea!

So that was last Thursday, then on saturday I taught at Eclectic Keepsakes crop in Colchester using Echo Parks Carta Bella Papers from their Photo Freedom papers. It was nice to scrap with the grey/teal/lime colour combo and with some splashes of colour from the blooms i found in the Range I was really pleased with me class. Of course I don't have a photo handy to show but I will upload one soon. Karen as always looked after us with not only her usual scrumptious cupcakes (which I taught how to fly...don;t ask!) but also a nice ploughmans lunch too!. Her home decor class was divine and is proudly displayed at home.

And of course Saturday marked the beginning of December which meant the return of Timmy the Elf to our house. Santa sent him back for a second year to see if my boys have been naughty or nice. Each night he returns to the NOrth Pole to report on the boys returning somewhere new each morning. Only yesterday we caught him in the food processor armed with seasonal baking supplies! My Jamie was too funny, when he saw Timmy he ran upstairs to warn me..."Mum, don't use the blender else you'll kill Timmy", I nearly cried I laughed so hard! I can't wait for the boys to find him tomorrow, he is somewhere very funny!!
