Well it's the end of week 1 in Jan 2013, I'm back at work, kids still off school so not quite the usual routine but I have been out and about desperately trying to shake off the last of my poorlyness (not sure that is even a word!) that has insisted on hanging around for some time!
I had the day off work on Friday to go and see Loose Women filmed live, in the audience, with guest stars Matt Cardle (you've all heard of him right?...lol!) and Claire Balding. Both great on the show which was a heap of fun, especially seeing all the fun and pranks on set in the advert breaks (audience dancing Gangnam style for Janet Street Porter!) We hung around after the show in the hope of seeing Matt and getting my album signed (I missed the official album signings last year when Jamie was sick) and luckily the gorgeous man stopped for the few fans who were waiting. Got a hug, another photo (well a girl can never have too many) and my album signed too! Happy Ann. Oh and if you have the latest issue of The Scrapbook Magazine you will have seen my "wishes do come true" layout in there featuring the lovely man himself!

After Caroline and I grabbed a late lunch at TGi, mmm, Jack Daniels ribs - divine and then I relaxed at home watching movies on the TV. Talking of movies I have seen Playing the Game this week which is the latest offering from Gerard Butler. Bit of a non-film really, not tempted to see again nor by on DVD even though he is in it!. Also saw The Hobbit on Wednesday with hubby in 3D and the effects were pretty cool I have to say. Next week it's Life of Pi (3D again) and Pitch Perfect (for a second time but with my daughter this time). I am determined to make the most of my Unlimited card and see at least two or three films a month.
I have started a few layouts this week too - all design team or crop classes so I will not be able to share until next week. I am excited to be looking at the new CHA releases too and what the scrapbooking industry has to offer us later this month for new goodies. I have already chosen one new range to design with at the ATDML retreat in April, very exciting!!
Hope you've all had a great start to your new year!
