Welcome back blog readers, I am pleased to report that teaching at Colchester went very well today and eveyone seemed to like the 2 layouts and the mini notebook I created. The following layout, one of those I taught today, was also the basis of my sketch over at Lets Capture These Sketches this week.
I absolutely love these Indie Girl Papers by Sassafrass (all available in the ATDML Store), and the layout above had no cutting of anything apart from the photographs. I then stitched a tic-tac-toe grid in coordinating threads before embellishing the page with the sweet treat stickers from the range and adding my title and a date with My Little Shoebox alphabet stickers.
I even managed a little crafting whilst at the crop and finally used my Graphic45 beachy papers I have been sitting on - one of those purchases I made when I saw something fabulous a fellow scrapbooker had created and then totally forgot who or what it was that had inspired me to buy them! Anyway, this was created for the sketch chalenge at the crop today.
Other news and it's a big thumbs up to me at the end of day 4 of SOFA with another perfect, no cheating, totally healthy eating day. I may have had a smidge of cheese on my mushroom omlette this evening (and I mean a smidge) but it was eaten with a massive green salad AND I resisted the most divine looking cupcakes at the crop! Still need to up my water consumption though
I did however have a rather productive day of learning thanks to the lovely Karen who spent time talking myself and other crop delegates few some pointers on Adobe Photoshop Elements, which meant I was able to do this for the LSNED class! And this shall be my learning for today - I learn to manipulate layers in Photoshop!
I am so pleased with myself! Now I must away to sleep as I have to work for a few hours tomorrow morning before heading down to the cricket for family fun day in aid of the Autism Society where I shall be playing super WAG and selling raffle tickets and being generally supportive whilst my children enjoy the free activities on offer. I'll be back tomorrow with more pages from my LSNED box.
