The first to share is based on Shimelle's Sketch from last week.
I shifted the journalling over so it was more noticable than it would have been on the spotty paper and used plenty of bits and bobs from my scraps box.
I then completed another layout featuring two 6x4 photos side by side (also of Gorillas!) and included a row of punched journalling circles to record our mad dash to London. I saw this journalling idea some time ago although I cannot recall where so I apologise if anyone who reads this things "Hey, I have seen that before and she didn't give credit!" - Believe me I would if I could!
This layout features a couple of yellow tickets kindly donated by Shimelle at her Ally Pally Cupcake picnic on Sunday, along with a paper rosette made with my Tim Holtz die purchase also from Ally Pally. I am determined these will feature on some of my Christmas cards this year. Yes I am sorry, I mentioned the C word. To be honest you are lucky it is only just now I have mentioned it as my handmade Christmas decorations feature in the lastest issue of The Scrapbook Magazine (UK) was sent off in July!
So now I am away to google Christmas card ideas so I can get making them next month as I ALWAYS leave it too late and this year, I will be super organised and make some handmade gifts too. This homemade lemon curd looks like a neat idea.

Not enough of the white stuff fell where we lived, not enough for two young boys with a strong desire to build a snowman, so we went to visit Grandma who had plenty of snow! Luckily the roads were clear and safe to drive on, and we had a great afternoon being kids (even us grown ups!)
Plenty of new scrapping material now, but only after I have finished my 7Gypsies printers tray and my Christmas cards, oh and done my entry for the 5th for my JYC! More of my printers tray is on the Created by ATDML blog who also have a fab challenge for this month too - inspired by my post to make something from your craft packaging - you could win a £25 voucher - go take a look!
Oh and finally before I go, The ScrapBook Magazine Christmas issue (51) is out now with some yummy free seasonal paper (perfect for snow pictutes) and I have layouts on pages 56/57 including one using up Echo Park Merry Christmas papers from my ATDML class last month. My son was so proud to see his face in the magazine and wants to take it to school for show and tell, bless him!!

It's Wednesday again and for a change I can share what is on my work desk on WOYWW (whats on your workdesk Wednesday), unlike the last two weeks where it has been covered in design team projects!
This week I bring you a snippet of a layout I'm working on, all wet stickles and all! my yoga magazine and guide for the forthcoming show in London, a couple of new dies (thanks Nets x) and in the background my new Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology goodies!!
Not the best of photos but the light was fading!
Thanks for popping buy, ooh, and a quick reminder before I go, Issue 50 of The Scrapbook Magazine is now in the shops here in the UK, and I have two layouts featured - albeit they spelt my name wrong and added an offending 'e' to the end of Ann! Grrr, still, tis nice to be in print again!
Off to paint my nails now as I am gallivanting up the city tomorrow evening in a posh frock for what hopes to be a night of celebrations if we (work) are lucky enough to win an awards we have been shortlisted for! Wish us luck and keep you digits crossed!

Yes, I made that up! There is no such thing as Happy Accountant's day (least not that I know of!) but as a nerdy bean counter today, 31st March, is year end and always makes me smile!
This too makes me smile! The Scrapbook Inspirations Debut Quarterly book (replacing the previous monthly magazine) is out today (UK) and features yours truly on page 94! Available in WHSmiths and Sainsbury’s and of course to order on-line, the book is also enroute to the USA and other destinations!
I am now officially on leave until next Tuesday with plenty planned including a hunt first thing tomorrow morning for a new local Geocache released today, a haircut at 11am and a visit to see my nan. The kids break up tomorrow afternoon and are looking forward to a chocolate filled easter weekend, then next weekend I am off to the April 2010 ATDML retreat!
